Our Project Management staff consists of design managers, project managers, MIS specialists, project schedulers, document and cost control specialists, and quantity surveyors. These associates are supported by an expert engineering team and technical specialists who are available to solve any issue over the project life cycle. Delivery of diverse projects locally and internationally is made possible through Harrison’s project controls, individualized analysis, and by reporting on major capital project management.

Harrison’s responsibilities under Project Management:

› Pre-Construction Project Management

Feasibility Studies; Project Execution and Contracting Strategies; Development of the scope of work, tender documents, and criteria for contract award; Tender document review, assessment, and recommendation up to the contract award.

› Risk Management

• Development and implementation of effective risk management strategies and processes by collaborating with designers, engineers, cost consultants, equipment suppliers, and construction contractors.
• Identification of risks to develop action plans that reduce the level of exposure.

› Reporting and Forecasting Systems

• Setup and maintenance of a uniform reporting and forecasting system that provides managers with a clear and consistent understanding of the project's status, problem areas, and potential issues.

› Cost Estimating and Control Systems

• Development and maintenance of budgetary control and forecasting systems.
• Create independent cost estimates while identifying issues including scope creep and escalation.
• Provide significant input that enhances Value Engineering (VE) exercises.
• Establishment and maintenance of control budgets while identifying key areas affected by adjustments.
• Financial management of project funds and budgets.

› Schedule and Time Management

• Development of Project Execution Plans (PEP) that includes important milestones and provides regular updates of PEP.
• Implementation of systems that create effective forecasts for milestones and project completion.
• Participate in recovery planning when a critical event has occurred that can cause delays.

› Electronic Document Management

• Setup and maintenance of document management systems that record the current and historical status of each letter, email, drawing, and document received or issued on a project.

› Quality Management Systems

• Implementation of effective Quality Management Systems (QMS) that are built around industry leading practices and operate in culmination with new procedures that fit within QMS.
• Ensure the implementation of best QMS practices for each project.

› Commissioning Management

• Provide design review for the commission of MEP building services; Management, coordination, planning and control of all MEP Testing and Commissioning activities. Setup commissioning plans, monitoring schedules, and management tools; Facilitate and provide validation and certification systems; Provide an independent advice center on Testing and Commissioning activities; Ensure proper interfacing and integration of all building services; Manage the production of Operation and Maintenance Manuals; Design and manage efficient client Operation and Facility Management training.

› Post-Construction Project Management

• Formation of criteria for the project handover to operating groups.
